If you are in a mood to have a mouth watering fried chicken at home then this recipe is a must know. Marinated chicken breast pieces coated with bread crumbs and fried. Every bite is an experience of a tender juicy chicken from inside with a crispy and crunchy layer outside. I bet you would not want to opt for fast food when you start making this tasty and easy fried chicken recipe in your kitchen.

CRUMB FRIED CHICKEN
Serves 2
Prep time 15 mins
Cooking time till chicken is fork ready approximately 13 to 15 mins
INGREDIENTS
Tender chicken breast 500 gm
For marination:
Thyme 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
Onion powder 1/2 tsp
Chilli garlic sauce 1 tsp
Sweet Thai chilli sauce 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
For egg wash and coating:
Eggs 2
Bread crumbs 13 tbsp
Paprika powder 3/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
METHOD
Cut chicken breast into small pieces. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients listed for marination. Put chicken pieces into the marinade and set aside. Next prepare egg wash by whisking 2 eggs with a pinch of salt in one bowl. In another dish put the bread crumbs seasoned with paprika and pinch of salt. Next start coating the chicken pieces by first dipping chicken piece in crumb mixture followed by coating with egg wash and again dipping in bread crumbs to evenly coat the piece. Repeat the process for all the chicken pieces. Now heat oil in a pan for shallow frying. Once oil is hot start frying the chicken pieces till a crispy golden brown crust is achieved on both sides. This should take about 6 to 7 mins on one side for chicken to be well cooked. Take out the fried chicken pieces and serve hot with a dip of your choice.
