Lets make a simple lamb/mutton recipe today, and that is mutton patties. Slightly crisp from outside and juicy from inside with that appropriate blend of flavors. Your saver when guests pay a surprise visit, all you need is minced mutton and you are good to go.

MUTTON KEBAB/PATTY

Serves 4
Prep time 10 mins
Cooking time 15 to 20 mins approx

INGREDIENTS

Mutton mince 400 gm
Bread crumbs 2 tbsp
Chopped green chillies 1 and a half tbsp
Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste 1 and a half tsp
Mutton masala or Garam masala 3/4th tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp for shallow frying

METHOD

Take a bowl, add mutton mince, bread crumbs, chillies, coriander, ginger garlic paste, mutton masala,cumin powder, pepper, salt and lemon juice. Mix well. Now make round patties out of the mutton mixture. Heat oil in a pan, add patties and shallow fry till patties turn brown and slightly crisp from outside. Remove from heat, garnish with coriander leaves or sesame seeds and serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney or use as a burger patty.
