GINGER BEEF MINCE

Spicy beef mince with steamed white rice is a delectable combination which serves for a comforting dinner. Beef mince is so budget friendly and versatile, it goes with rice, spaghetti, baked potatoes, noodles and variety of breads . Beef mince recipes are quick , easy and affordable to make.

My today's recipe is a spicy beef mince made with ginger and Asian spices, which can be enjoyed with steamed rice or bread. Ready in less than half an hour, it is something your family will love to have for dinner.

GINGER BEEF MINCE

Serves 3 to 4
Prep time 10 mins
Cooking time 20 to 25 mins

INGREDIENTS

Beef mince 400 gm
Ginger cut into thin strips 1 tbsp
Onion chopped 1 large
Tomato chopped 1 large
Green chillies cut into thin strips 2
Chopped coriander 1 and a half tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Dry fenugreek crushed 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Curry powder 1 tsp
Cardamom pods 2 to 3
Salt to taste
Oil 3 tbsp

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger, cumin, onion and green chillies and cardamom and saute till onions turn translucent. Now add beef mince and mix all the ingredients well. Next add tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, meat masala and salt, mix and cook on medium flame with lid on for 15 mins. Now remove lid, add fenugreek and half of the coriander and cook for 5 to 7 mins. Remove from heat, garnish with remaining coriander and serve hot.
